I have the empathy, training, experience, skills, and resources, to support and reassure you
-
It may be worth mentioning that I also bring good energy, a sense of humour and a sense of calm (which are usually essential when planning a wedding!)
-
I will do everything that I can to ensure that your wedding ceremony is absolutely perfect for you - down to the VERY last detail
Your ceremony will be tailored for you and filled with exquisite authentic moments that you and your guests will always remember as being part of the best Wedding or Civil Partnership Ceremony that anyone ever went to - EVER!

Some reasons why i may be the ideal celebrant for you...
-
I am friendly, approachable, highly-experienced, resourceful, reassuring and reliable.
-
I am an accomplished writer and story teller. Love stories, (accompanied by smiles, laughter, and happy tears) are often at the heart of the ceremonies that I craft.
-
I create and conduct totally bespoke Wedding and Civil Partnership ceremonies for couples who care about their ceremony and definitely don't want themselves (or their guests) to be bored!
-
I will always listen to what YOU want, and do my very best to make that happen. I will work tirelessly to ensure that your ceremony is meaningful and memorable and authentically YOU.

Many of my couples still choose to include some traditional elements (such as walking down the aisle, exchanging vows and rings, etc).
Having said that, if YOU don't want to do any (or all) of those things, or if you want something considered untraditional, that is great too!
It doesn't mean that I'm not the ideal celebrant for you, or that your ceremony can't (or won't) be memorable and meaningful.
far from it!!!
I will ensure that your ceremony will be as relaxed, happy, fun, innovative, romantic, non-cheesy (or cheesy!) or as formal as you want it to be.
(Although I must admit that most of the couples that choose me as their Celebrant don't tend to want a 100% formal ceremony - they're much more likely to go for a combination of all (or most) of the other styles mentioned)
It is your day and your ceremony and I will design and deliver your ceremony exactly how you want it to be remembered - and you don't get any better or more meaningful than that.
Whichever style and format are the best fit for you, I will work with you to make your ceremony reflective of your wishes, your love, your relationship, your lives, and your personalities...
Does this sound like we could be a match?

How much it will cost
if i am your celebrant...
I appreciate that organising a wedding can be expensive; in order to assist with managing your budget, I have held my 2023 prices for 2024 and offer a range of interest-free payment plans.
I aim to provide excellent added value for your investment. You will have the benefit, and reassurance, of my many years of experience and expertise - and I promise that I will be totally invested in YOU and YOUR ceremony.
I don't charge extra for weekends, Bank Holidays, or evenings, but there are several factors that affect my fee - one being the distance that I will have to travel for meetings and for your ceremony.
You will find that my fees are fair and transparent. I will be able to give you a comprehensive quote once I have checked some details with you.
However, to give you an indication, a unique Wedding or Civil Partnership Ceremony, designed, created, and conducted exclusively, just for you, STARTS FROM JUST £600*
* The above fee is for ceremonies taking place in Merseyside, in 2024, and includes... · meeting with you to discuss and plan your ceremony at least twice (in person, within 20 miles of Liverpool - or videocall, if that is more convenient for you) · unlimited email, messages, video calls, and telephone support · designing and delivering a completely unique ceremony, written just for you · access to a password protected private webpage which contains a selection of ideas and resources (including my compilations of readings & vows and suggestions for ways to personalise your ceremony) · support with creating personal vows (if desired) · guidance on ways to further personalise your ceremony and include your guests (if desired) · my travel costs · a run through, arranged for a date before your ceremony (so we can talk about what will happen: when, where, how - and who will be involved, etc.) · printed copies of any readings (for use during the ceremony) · a commemorative certificate (which can be signed during the ceremony – if you wish) · a presentation copy of your ceremony script...
Your date is secured with an initial payment of £200, the remaining balance is due two months before your ceremony. Payment is by bank transfer or credit/debit card.
(other methods, including interest-free payment plans are available, please ask for details)

Where I work...
I am most often asked to lead wedding and partnership ceremonies in the North West of England (Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester & Cumbria) and North Wales (Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire, Conwy, Gwynedd & Anglesey).
Although I'm local to the above areas, I am available (and LOVE) to officiate at wedding and civil partnership ceremonies anywhere in the UK or abroad (lots of couples have told me that they LOVE that I was able to bring a little bit of Liverpool to their special day)
I'd love to hear your plans

I'd love you to get in touch...
Tell me what you are planning (including where and when - if you already know).
I'd love to hear your stories, get to know you, and go on to create and conduct the perfect ceremony, written just for you.

IMPORTANT: Please be aware that Celebrants in England and Wales are not able to complete the legalities for registering a marriage or civil partnership.
If you use a local authority register office for your registration this is a simple and relatively inexpensive two stage process.
I have written a blog. However, this is not intended to be seen as advice. You must ensure that you check what is required and choose what is best for you.
I have also included answers to some frequently asked questions on this page - I hope it helps. I'm happy to talk through your options, if it will help.
Before you go...
